We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Associate Software Engineer. You will be placed in technical positions with frequent exposure to senior leaders, businesses and technologies. This role includes but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
If you are located in Pacific Standard Time (PST) time zone, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform all phases of software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, development and testing (unit testing, automation, deployment, and support)
  • Provide support in critical production support issue resolution as needed in DevOps teams
  • Support the team for application availability, reliability and stability
  • Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements
  • Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
  • Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software and Attend Agile ceremonies
  • Push for technology solutions that create a better work environment / experience for developers
  • Work with the dev team and product management to create next-gen features

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
  • Experience in development of Health Care Systems or Managed Care Systems
  • Proficient in .NET programming (C++, C#, ASP.NET), MVC, Entity Framework
  • Proficient at writing SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and indexes
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Knowledge of development for EDI / X12 based systems
  • Computer algorithms awareness
  • Software programming language familiarity
