Associate Plant Accountant

Serving customers in Idaho, PCA Burley takes pride in offering outstanding customer service. We are a full-service supplier of corrugated shipping containers and value-added solutions. Our customers rely on us for package testing, structural design solutions, just-in-time (JIT) deliveries and rush orders.

Responsibilities include:
May perform general accounting activities

May prepare and record accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles

May perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collection duties

Under general direction exercises independent judgment to resolve assigned work

May include front office management and receptionist duties

May plan meetings and company functions

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
At least 2 years of college (with an accounting focus)

Broad understanding of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices

Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3 years or more related experience

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities

Must be able to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships with both internal and external customers

Must exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills

Must be capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solving

Must be capable of working with ambiguity and change
