We have an immediate need for a results-oriented, innovative thinker with strong planning and organizational skills to drive successful global events.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: :
Under the general direction of the GBE Events Manager you will:

Develop / support events from concept to completion, partnering with cross-functional team of internal and external members:

  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to clearly communicate event execution timing and expectations.
  • Drive event space branding with Marketing and Brand Design to ensure effective branding story
  • Develop space planning, allocating proportional space for Hasbro brands
  • Create effective pre-event timelines to ensure event is fully delivered and executed
  • Secure quotes from vendors aligning with budget plan

Provide on-site event leadership and partnership delivering event as conceptually planned:

  • On-site lead to provide clear direction, answer questions, provide solutions
  • Co-ordinate the on-site setup / teardown, ensuring timelines are met, event ready for opening
  • Ensure food and beverage service is delivered as planned and up to requested standards

Deliver on planning elements in support of all events:

  • Lead / support product meetings with cross-functional team to ensure proper product representation at events
  • Secure content for views at events
  • Manage conference room bookings for attendees
  • Oversee food selection / planning
  • Acquire attendee count for development of space, agenda planning, budgeting
  • Manage / support RI Preview daily execution
  • Support internal presentations events
  • Order collateral materials, ensuring timely delivery
  • Partner with travel to secure hotel space, meeting space, communications to attendees
  • Support Regions, delivering assets to develop local showrooms
  • Assist Manager with event registration planning, management, execution
  • Assist Manager with hotel blocks, rooming assignments

PO / Budget support for all events:

  • Arrange creation and obtaining signatures for all POs, check requests
  • Provide Director of Events with detailed update / status of all POs, check requests, payments

Education and Experience Requirements: :

  • Show management, planning and execution – 5 years.
  • Associates Degree in Event Management, Marketing or related field.
  • Experiences with registration systems and hotel blocking / management

Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:

  • Thorough understanding of the steps necessary to deliver successful events for attendees and Hasbro, Inc.

Critical Skills:

  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
  • Expertise in critical thinking, problem solving
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Well developed, verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Material lifting up to 50 lbs and hands on with moving materials
