Associate Graphic Designer, Visual Operations

Role Description The Associate Graphic Designer will work closely with the Manager of Visual Operations, Senior Manager of Visual Operations and the Visual Merchandising Managers to execute visual direction from creative approval through release. The person will need to be skilled in all facets of creative production: they will photograph store sets, photoshop/re-touch photography, layout photography and accompanying product information, all the while making design choices consistent with the Gap brand aesthetic. They will be expected to collaborate with all relevant business partners including visual merchandising, windows/in-store marketing, studio, production, and account managers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for graphic production of monthly visual direction and any addendum, from creative hand-off through review process and ultimately final release

Work closely with manager and visual merchandising managers to execute monthly visual direction,

special project visual directives, and other visual direction documents depending on necessity

Participate in routing process, status meetings and production scheduling – maintain personal daily and weekly production/design schedule

Adhere to naming and back-up procedures to ensure appropriate archiving and storage

Actively participate in creative/production hand-offs & walk-throughs

Continually manage and work to improve quality of deliverables 55 THOMAS STREET
