About This Opportunity

InComm is seeking an Associate General Counsel to help further support our growing business. InComm is uniquely positioned in the financial services technology market and offers you the opportunity to work on complex transactional matters. Responsibilities

Negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements related to the prepaid industry, including agreements with financial institutions, payments networks and processors.

Provide legal advice to compliance, government affairs and product development teams regarding bank-issued prepaid products, money transmission, electronic payments, CFPB and NACHA rules, and other laws and rules that impact the prepaid business.

Primary focus is U.S. but will also include some international commercial work.

This person will also be responsible for other task and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Membership in the Georgia bar (or other bar membership)

5+ years of practice experience, preferably in a law firm environment, with a background in corporate transactions and commercial contracts; minimum of 2 yrs payments experience

Experience with financial services contracts, cardholder agreements, technology/licensing contracts, or distribution contracts

Proven experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements

Experience with prepaid products, stored value cards, bill payment and/or money transmission is preferred

Experience with consumer disclosure and marketing regulations a plus

Experience in regulatory compliance, preferably financial regulations or consumer protection-based regulations relating to financial institutions and money service businesses, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act/Safeguards Rule, FRB Gift Card Act, FinCEN Prepaid Access Rule, UDAAP, State Money Transmission laws, State Escheatment/Unclaimed Property laws, card association rules and other laws and regulations relating to prepaid cards, stored value cards, bill payment and money transmission.
