Associate Finance Director

Current Need

The purpose of this role is to support the Regional Finance Directors and Controllers with effective reporting and strategic analytics that will support operations leadership in achieving their long term plans.

Position Description

Provides operational analytics around key business drivers and partners with Regional Finance Directors and operations to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial targets.

Conducts timely, thorough analysis of practices financial results, including discounts, expense analysis/control and related impact and receivables aging. Responsible for approval of practice operating expense spend, financial statement account reconciliations, and internal controls.

Work closely with Regional Finance Directors and FP&A to manage forecasting & budgeting processes.

Supports capital expenditure process including new project analysis and ongoing forecasting of regional capital spend.

Assist controllers with performing financial statement account reconciliations and achieving internal controls.

Assist RFDs in developing presentations related to key business drivers.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

5+ years finance or accounting experience including 2+ years managerial experience

Critical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field

Minimum five (5) years experience in financial management

Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is critical

Strong operational and strategic analytical experience required

Additional Knowledge & Skills

MBA and/or CPA preferred.

Healthcare experience preferred

Essbase and PeopleSoft knowledge is preferred

Self-learner and demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity

Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives concurrently

Ability to exercise judgment in developing methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Finance and accounting knowledge

Critical thinking and complex problem solving

Communication Skills

Task Management experience required

Service Orientation required

Education

MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
