Associate – Corporate and Investment Banking Coverage (Generalist)

Associates are looked upon as vital resources, providing creative input in a variety of disciplines. Working under the overall direction of senior bankers you will be assigned to transactions and interact with the clients and the deals as they progress.

Job Requirements
• Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data, identify, research and analyze merger and acquisition opportunities;

  • Develop valuation models of individual private and public companies, as well as merged entities;

  • Assist with client negotiations and documentation;

  • Prepare external client proposals and internal underwriting memos;

  • Prepare and contribute to the delivery of client presentations;

  • Aid senior team members with idea generation;

  • Manage and review the work of analysts; and,

  • Develop internal relationships in order to leverage products and services provided by TD.

Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics; Series 7, 79 and 63

  • 2 – 3 years of related experience
