Working under the Payment Systems Manager, the Assistant Payment Systems Manager is responsible for supervising a team of 10. You’ll be responsible for coaching, mentoring, evaluating and inspiring team members. Payment Systems works the “magic behind the curtain” of the credit union and is involved with payment methods such as credit and debit cards, wires, checks etc. You’ll oversee and ensure processing, security reconcilement and accounting of all transaction settlements and work with members regarding fraud and payment solutions. You’ll use your project management skill to keep vendors and projects on track as well as research and resolve issues. It’s a career position that demands embracing technology, acute attention to detail, a keen eye for numbers and the people skills necessary to motivate a team to be its very best.

What you will need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years in financial services operations or accounting
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in computer systems (IBM or IBM compatible) and proficient on word processor, spreadsheet and database applications.
• Experience in any or all of the following areas preferred:
• Fiserv Spectrum Software
• FEDLINE Software
• Debit and Credit Card Software processing
• Card Services

Annual Compensation: Minimum $55,203 /yr +bonus, more depending on experience
