Job Title: Assistant, Finance/Marketing Operations
A little bit about our team:
The finance department is responsible for accurately reporting the financial position of the company on a monthly and quarterly basis. In addition, the finance department is responsible for establishing operational controls related to financial activities and preparing the fiscal budget for which the company is measured against. Finally, the department is a partner to all other departments with regards to making strategic decisions that benefit the company.
Why this could be your next big break:
In addition to assisting the CFO in all areas of administration, you will work for the co-leaders of our Marketing Operations team. You will be responsible for professionally multi-tasking accounts payable duties, employee travel and entertainment report auditing, and assisting in the budget process for all artist marketing projects.
Here you’ll get to:
Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, telephone and email communication with business associates/clients/company Executives, schedule and prepare for meetings and conference calls, prepare monthly expense reports, coordinate business travel, and various ad hoc requests.
Lead training sessions for all new employees on company systems such as SAP, Ariba, Concur, and PMDJ. You will provide continued support on an as-needed basis.
Be responsible for the accurate monitoring of fiscal year charity budget and payments.
Coordinate all matters related to promotional product requests for staff and clients via the PMDJ System, including the set-up/maintenance of system users. Liaison with WEA (our distribution label) to ensure the timely and accurate shipping of all promotional product.
Oversee the awarding process of RIAA certified plaques to artists, staff, and third parties including verifying certification and seeking approvals from A&R and Marketing.

You have experience with word, excel, and outlook
You are detail oriented, goal oriented and highly motivated
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
SAP or ARIBA experience
CONCUR experience
Advanced Excel Training
Finance and/or accounting knowledge
