ASP.NET Developer

• echnical Skills: Develops, tests and deploys applications based on the system requirements; produces quality results in strict adherence to the coding standards of the MUTBNY; validates the application development results through testing.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written business communication skills
• Business Analysis: Works with business owners and users to define requirements for applications; analyzes and designs efficient solutions to meet the needs if the user community.
• Production Support: Supports existing in-house, vendor and Head Office applications and databases.
• Project Management: Provides guidance and oversight of the development of temporary employees as needed.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree or an advanced degree from a 4 year college or university (Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or similar discipline).

SKILLS:

• 5+ years working with relational databases essential, ideally SQL Server or Oracle. MS Access a plus.
• 2+ years of experience with web development using ASP.net and javascript a strong plus
• Financial experience and experience with IBM FileNet a strong plus
• Experience managing other developers on technical projects
• Experience with transaction monitoring (Actimize), OpenPages, data warehouses, InfoSphere, Cognos or Dovetail a plus

Work Experience:

• 5+ years of work experience in a position involving hands-on software application design, development and programming in Microsoft VB.Net Framework or C#. Experience with thick and thin client applications is necessary.
