AS400 Programmer Analyst

Are you a Senior Developer interested in leveraging your technical capabilities and providing solutions in order to be part of an expanding environment? Do you have strong technology skills within AS400?

Our direct client which we’ve built a very strong relationship over the last 15+ years is seeking to expand their team of of AS400 P/A’s during an exciting time of increasing project demand. This contract is initially scheduled to go 6 months with a possible extension. Candidate must be senior level with the ability to work autonomously to provide solutions as well as within the client’s team environment.

As a Senior Programmer/Analyst – what you will be doing:

1) At least 10 years experience on the AS/400 / iSeries

2) Strong programming with RPG III, IV and Free

3) Ability to feed electronic data to convert internal data format into the EDI standard format using the appropriate segments and data elements.

4) Must have Service Programs experience.

5) Must have Distribution, Purchasing Order/Entry experience.6) Must have packaging experience.

6) Ideal candidate will have PRMS experience.

7) Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
