Art Director

Overview

Modsy is a fast growing SF based startup that allows you to see inspirational designs and decor within the context of your own home. Sparked by a lifelong passion for the intersection of design and technology, Modsy is being brought to life by a diverse and talented team of engineers, artists, designers and creators.

The Art Director leads Modsy’s brand experience, visual communication, and content creation initiatives. In this role, you will help us evolve our design system, design creative campaigns, and be the steward for our brand experience.

Responsibilities

The Art Director at Modsy brings creativity and craft to conceive and execute, marketing and product work that further refines, and extends Modsy’s brand.

You will be able to lead by example and work with other designers, stylists, 3D designers to create a shared creative vision.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications

4-6+ years of professional visual design experience (required)

Exceptional visual design chops, including an online portfolio that shows a breadth of detailed, visual design work (required)

An ability to articulate design choices and deliver quick results (required)

Prior experience in managing creative digital teams (preferred)

Bonus: Experience and understanding of 3D design, interior design, and e-co mmerce.
