We are currently seeking an
Analyst/Appraiser
to join our
Valuation & Advisory Services
team in
Fort Worth, TX
.

Our Valuation & Advisory Services platform is part of a global network comprised of experienced, licensed, qualified appraisers who use local insights and their years of expertise to deliver accurate, reliable and prompt valuations. We provide sound advice, no matter the size of a property, complexity of a project, or industry focus. Our professionals offer a full range of expertise, including right-of-way valuation, consultation, and litigation support.

The successful candidate will complete right-of-way valuation and consultation assignments in connection with commercial real estate valuation and consulting assignments which may include market and cost analyses, income modeling and before/after acquisition analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Meeting/interviewing property owners and representatives
  • Performing site inspections
  • Performing highest and best use analysis
  • Performing rent surveys and income analyses
  • Conducting market surveys
  • Performing investigative research
  • Analyzing legal and economic impact of public projects on real property
  • Performing analyses of non-conforming properties and feasibility of continued use

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, economics, finance, real estate, or construction science highly desirable—recent graduates will be considered with significant related internship experience
  • 1-3+ years of related experience (finance, analysis, research, appraisal, construction)
  • Outstanding academic achievement
  • Experience in appraisal/valuation services industry, preferred
  • Real estate related internship, preferred
  • Construction or infrastructure support experience, preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of statistical modeling, preferred
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage your own workflow and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Self-starter and team oriented
