Specific Job Description (Accountabilities & Requirements)

  • Provide FPGA technical support which consist of hardware and/or software issues, required debugging in the lab
  • Create technical documentation such as FAQs, tech notes, and presentations as required
  • Create customer demos, solutions, and reference designs for FPGA devices and evaluation boards based on requirement
  • Evaluate and test new software releases
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve Software, Documentation, Starter Kits, RTL designs, and signal interity

Required Skills

  • BS/MS in Electrical, Electronics or Telecom or equivalent
  • Conversant in Programmable logic (PLD/FPGA) and VHDL/Verilog
  • Conversant in FPGA tool flow, RTL simulation, writing test benches, timing analysis and timing closure, programming concepts
  • Should have performed board level debugging and able to generate schematics
  • Experience with lab equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, power supplies, multi-meters etc
  • Embedded systems (microcontroller, assembly code) experience, especially microcontrollers, memory, I/O control, and DSP is a plus
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across multiple sites globally
