Applications Developer III

Job Summary

Design, development, and test mobile applications. Test on the latest mobile devices. Interface and communicate with Product Management, User Experience & Design, and back office development teams. Code all aspects of the applications (server side, device side) and often design the software architecture. Provide end-to-end testing of application, including any server components that the app might interface with. Work in a cross-functional team environment utilizing the SCRUM agile development methodology using JIRA, Rally, Assembla. Lead the development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications. Analyze complex systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Code, test, and debug documents, and implement software applications. Create innovative products and services delivered to mobile devices.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years of experience as a Java Developer, Software Engineer, or related role. Eight (8) years of related work experience post high school will be accepted in lieu of Bachelor’s plus four (4) years of experience. Experience must include systems development, coding, software application, embedded system and mobile application development, wireless applications, developing server side apps exporting web services such as REST, JSON, and XML, developing Web services, XML, Object oriented design, design patterns, networks, TCP/IP, UNIX, Eclipse, and Source code version control systems (SVN, GIT), Java, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, writing complex ANSI SQL queries with Oracle, MySql databases.
