Applications Developer I – .NET

Job Summary

The Applications Developer I will analyze, document, develop and support our instance of OnBase. We have the platform in place, but there is a lot of room to grow as we roll this out to all the areas of our business. .NET developer is what we need, keeping in mind that this is for OnBase. Get in on a new and exciting area of our organization. Provide influence and shape this space as it grows!

Characteristics and Responsibilities

  • Serve as point-of-contact for all OnBase Core and Custom design issues.
  • Design, document, code, and test assigned interfaces in Visual Basic .Net and C#.
  • Assist client support Analysts and BA for testing of developed interfaces and programs.
  • Monitor and trouble-shoot software and hardware issues, coordinate and resolve issues, such as on-call issues and performance issues.
  • Design and program OnBase Workflows and WorkView Configurations, unit test changes.
  • Work closely with Client Support Analysts for client testing of developed interfaces.
  • Collaborate with multiple units to design workflow and Workview components to specific requirement and design.
  • Provide backend data loads and fix workflow or WorkView issues within OnBase or other programs.
  • Re-program current interfaces in production into Integration Framework solution.
  • Create Detail Design documentation of new interfaces. Provide support and guidance to contractors and users.
  • Provide technical input/guidance to client in requirement gathering phase of potential interfaces.
  • Work with infrastructure analysts and vendors to setup connections between multiple platforms, debug and resolve issues related to hardware (Various servers, connections, Data Warehouse), software deployment in local computer, as well as in distributed environments (Citrix, Terminal Severs).
  • Collaborate with Information Resource Administrators to create tables, indexes, schema, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Work with IT Security analysts for appropriate access granting to SQL, DB2, and Mainframe data.
  • Work with Enterprise Scheduling analysts for job scheduling and running.

Qualifications

Work Experience

Required

  • 2 or more years in Visual Basic development or C#

OR

  • 1 or more years in data processing as a mainframe programmer/analyst and one (1) year Visual Basic programming
  • Direct experience with relational databases

Education

Required

  • Associate’s degree in Data Processing or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience
  • OnBase Certification: Previous certification, or attending 1 week and passing test for certification preferred. May obtain certification within 3 months of hire date
