Applications Developer

Under the direction of the Senior Applications Developer, the responsibilities for the position of the .NET Developer include, but are not limited to the following: ? Design, develop, test, support and deploy custom client/server and web applications in a .NET environment? Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activities? Create software documentation and update existing documentation? Support and maintain existing applications by identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner? Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products? Assist and support other team members on multiple projects? Research and evaluate software related technologies and products? Perform other duties as requested by the reporting manager

Minimum Qual Requirements

1. A certificate from an accredited technical school (approximately 675 hours) with a specialization in computer operations, and two years of satisfactory full-time experience, acquired within the last eight years, working on large-scale mainframe computer operations or mainframe data communication networks; or 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time experience, acquired within the last eight years, as described in “1” above; or 3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory full-time experience, acquired within the last eight years, as described in “1” above; or 4. A satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to “1”, “2”, or “3” above. However, all candidates must have at least two years of full-time experience, acquired within the last eight years, as described in “1” above.

Preferred Skills

? In depth knowledge and development experience with C# and Visual Basic in .NET 4.0/4.5+? Knowledge of all aspects of system development life cycle (SDLC); experience in writing T-SQL queries, views, stored procedure and functions in MS SQL? Crystal Report and SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)? Hands-on experience and knowledge of Visual FoxPro, PeopleSoft and Oracle is a plus? Excellent communication skills? Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
