Job Description

Play a key developer role in an experienced, energetic onshore/offshore team on a rapid, waterfall development schedule

Work closely with the Client Technology Services (CTS) team of analysts to design, model, and develop files for both new and existing client demand.

Tune jobs for better application and system performance

Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed

Prepare documentation as needed to conform with DPF audit guidelines

Qualifications

Technical qualifications:
Key hands resource with 7+ years of software development experience with a PL/1, COBOL, DB2, JCL,CICS, RTC, OPC, VSAM to develop robust, reliable and high-performance solutions.

Experience with software development lifecycle and software development common practices (code reviews, unit testing etc.).

Additional qualifications:
B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field

Extensive hands-on experience with source code management best practices, continuous integration, and automated testing

Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions to the business needs with minimal oversight

Strong communication skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible.

Strong collaboration skills, working with multiple teams in various locations across the globe

Past experience working in the Financial industry preferred
