DXC Technology has an immediate need in our US Public Sector group for a Application Developer in Boise, ID, El Paso, TX, Pontiac, MI, or Conway, AR.

Job Description:
  • Work as part of the DXC Technology IT team to ensure effective design, development, and enhancement of enterprise solutions to meet NGEN Services and requirements.
  • Create solutions to become best practices, secure and sell-able to help meet customer objectives.
  • The ability to collaborate with administrators and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements.
  • Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with strong problem solving skills.
Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Database developer
  • An understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
  • Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
  • Experience with ASP.NET Web Applications (PowerShell, C#, .NET or Java scripting)
  • Knowledge in one of the following database functions:
  • SQL Server Database
  • SQL Server Integration Services
  • SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills
  • An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • This positions requires:
    • An active Secret Security Clearance
    • DoD 8570 Security+ certification
