Application Developer

(Entry level)

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java EE internal web applications.

Develop and maintain Cobol Store Procedures and Batch programs.

Develop and maintain DB2 Native SQL Procedures

Participate in translating business requirements into well researched, designed, developed, tested, and documented new custom applications and existing software modifications.

Coordinate software installation and implementation process.

Support business users of internal applications.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science

Some experience with Java and/or other Object Oriented Programming languages.

Familiarity with SQL, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.

Willingness to familiarize with legacy mainframe system in order to develop and support possible legacy changes.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing in COBOL, CICS, and/or JCL.

Experience with version management (SVN- Apache Subversion ideal).

Experience with REST, JSON, JSF, CSS, and/or Maven.
