Application Developer

We have an opening for an Application Developer at our office in San Francisco. This position will focus first on migrating legacy desktop applications from MS Access/VBA to .Net and WPF. They will also be responsible for moving any data stored in Access to Oracle.

Other position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design, code, test, implement and support software while meeting deadline and project requirements
• Working closely with other IT departments and teams
• Contribute to the implementation process for new applications as well as enhancements to existing applications
• Responsible for build and test of applications
• Conduct root cause analysis and complex performance tuning
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, as well as the ability to interface with clients, management, and other technology groups

Technical Skills

• Experience with C#, VB.NET or similar.
• Experience with WPF
• Experience with Oracle SQL
• Experience with Application Testing Software

Experience with the following a plus

• Microsoft Access
• VBA
• Crystal Reports or similar report generation software

Additional Requirements

• Perform some repetitive motion activities.
• Sit for long periods of time at desk.
• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• May be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
