Application & Database Programmer

Position Description

Responsible for designing and testing program logic, coding programs, program documentation and preparation of programs for WFC computer operations. This position will report to the Chief Information Officer.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience

5 years of practical application programming experience

Job Responsibilities

Maintain and support currently deployed programs

Work with Data Architect to combine and eliminate redundant databases

Assist in the design of new IT solutions

Develop and code designed solutions

Build user interfaces

Skills / Competencies

Experience with Java/JavaScript

Experience with Microsoft.NET framework and all related technologies

Experience with HTML/CSS

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration

Solid written/oral communication skills

Proficiency with light project management

Willingness to embrace new technologies (Web UX, etc.)

Self-motivated, independent worker

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
