Application Architect, Lead
Key Role:

Serve as a technical architect on large–scale IT projects. Provide consultation and strategic guidance to clients in addressing complex, enterprise–level systems engineering and integration challenges. Demonstrate technical knowledge of MS–NET 3.5 and 4.0., grants management systems, content management, Drupal, SharePoint, Oracle, .Net, AWS Cloud, and Web site management environments. Collaborate with IT project stakeholders and technical teams in the development and evaluation of enterprise–compliant technical solutions. Support technical teams in investigating, analyzing, defining, tailoring, and implementing technology solutions to create greater alignment between technology and business goals. Construct adaptable systems that meet client requirements, investigate, analyze, define, tailor, and implement solutions that help to align technology and business goals, and support stakeholder work sessions focused on identifying requirements and solutions

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with IT or system engineering

-Experience with developing solution architecture and conceptual and logical system design for large–scale programs and projects

-Experience with supporting different software development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile

-Ability to function at both the detail and conceptual levels

-Ability to document the architectural conclusion using technical specification notations, including UML

-Public Trust clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with issue tracking and change control tools, including JIRA and Subversion

-Experience with providing enterprise architecture–related support to clients in the federal space

-Possession of excellent analytical and conceptual skill

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in CS or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

-Enterprise Architecture or Technology Management Certification
