You will join a team of over 40 employees operating in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and the United States, who are working to change the way Latin American consumers manage and spend their money.

What you can expect as Android Developer

The developer will be responsible for creating customer facing Android applications and SDKs.
Development of these applications involves integrating with internal APIs, third party APIs, vendor SDKs and open source software. The developer will be working in a fast paced, tight knit and highly collaborative organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features; Architect, design and develop scalable and multi-threading android applications and SDKs from the ground up;
Work closely with the back-end team to integrate with Web Service APIs;
Develop and apply security protocols and mechanisms to secure communications on mobile platforms;
Take PCI training and apply best practice for mobile security risks;
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency;
Continuously explore mobile security attacks and research preventions for secure mobile payment and mobile banking solutions;
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance;
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability; and Feature development effort estimation

What we are looking for

3+ Years of experience as Android Developer
Capability to design and architect Android applications/SDKs using well accepted patterns, such as MVP, MVVM.
Must have complete understanding of Java programming.
Work experience with Kotlin and RxJava programming is a plus.
Work experience with dependency injection and proficient in Dagger 2.
Able to demonstrate key skills with code that they have written (Geolocation, network interactions, etc.)
Experience with many of the frameworks provided by Google, including but not limited to Google Maps, Places, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, etc.
Experience with JSON and XML formatted Web Services.
Extensive experience with Retrofit for external/internal RESTful web service calls.
Proficiency with Android Security frameworks.
Understanding of public key infrastructure, TLS/SSL, basic authentication mechanisms, encryption/decryption, hashing.
Understanding of SQL server and MySQL.
Proficient in sqlite database and commonly used android database frameworks, such as Realm, Room, etc.
Proficient in Source Control (Git).
Work experience with Continuous Integration is a plus.
High Communication skills to interact with business partners and/or external clients.
Written documentation on their applications (both technical and client-facing)
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
