Analyst, EC/EDI – Sterling Integrator

The impact of EC/EDI is Global (impacting all of Molex – all Divisions and Regions) as the EC/EDI applications and services span many areas – SAP, CRM, ACCOUNTING, HR, FINANCE, SALES, LOGISTICS, MARKETING, TRAVEL, and INTERCOMPANY.

Partnerships include both customers and suppliers in all Regions of the company. Incumbent develops and designs new solutions and programs to solve problems for the global business entities.

There is some latitude on individual design of a solution; however, collaboration with other team members on solutions developed, along with peer review is a part of the process.

Ability to work independently and with other IT professionals within the EC/EDI group and outside of the group is required.

Development efforts also require creativity and problem solving abilities using the tools provided in Sterling Integrator B2B, Esker DeliveryWare 5.0 and Automation Anywhere Enterprise Edition, in addition to other data handling and manipulation tools.

The goal of our Global EC/EDI operation is to “Deliver the right data for the right partner delivered to the right place at the right time, always.” 1. Develops solutions and new business processes for global EC/EDI operation.

2. Designs new solutions and programs to solve problems for the business using Sterling Integration B2B, Esker DeliveryWare 5.0 and Automation Anywhere Enterprise software suites.

3. Provides upgrade path rationale for migration to new servers or new versions of EC/EDI software tools.

4. Provides promote to production services for regional team members.

5. Provides connectivity to other systems, internal and external partners.

6. Supports global 24X7X365 EC/EDI infrastructure and is on-call on evenings, weekends, and holidays as a shared responsibility.

Job Requirements:
MUST BE A US Citizen to be considered for this role

Minimum 3 years of experience on the Sterling B2B Integrator tools suite for BPML development, knowledge and experience in SI mapping tool, communication methods AS2/SFTP/FTPS/HTTP/HTTPS/GXS for trading partners, system tuning, promote to production activities in a tiered landscape, and upgrade experience on Sterling B2B Integrator

Minimum 3 years of experience with EDI standards including: X12, EDIFACT, RosettaNet, Odette & VDA

Minimum of 3 years of experience configuring SI B2B SAP interface including IDOC, ALE, BAPI, and SFTP methodologies

Minimum of 4 years of experience in SI B2B System administration and relative upgrade experience for a major version change, hardware swap outs or migration to new O/S platform and Mailbox utility

Minimum of 4 years of experience in development of new SI B2B BPML processes

Minimum of 3 years of experience design ing , creat ing , repair ing and troubleshoot ing maps using the SI B2B GPM Mapper

Preferred Job Requirements:
Experience administering and developing solutions in Esker DeliveryWare 5.0 development environment and Automation Anywhere Enterprise application

Ability to create solutions that include VB Scripting and/or C++/C#

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to monitor, troubleshoot and ensure VAN connectivity along with the non-VAN connectivity for protocols such as AS2, RN, FTP, SFTP and HTTP .

Ability to lead projects from inception to conclusion within scope, timeframe and budget constraints using direct or indirect resources .

Skilled in using UNIX/LINUX commands

Excellent, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills .

Strong attention to details, planning and organizational skills
