Agile Business Analyst

The Agile Business Analyst is embedded with the LMS QA team and will be responsible for requirements gathering, testing and certification of project deliverables in a very dynamic and iterative environment. S/he will work closely with the project team and the development team to make sure that customer deliverables are implemented according to specifications.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, dedicated to work and have a passion for solving problems and software quality. S/he should also have the ability to work independently and as part of a small team and communicate effectively with other teams.

Responsibilities

Work as a part of the team and communicate effectively with software developers, product managers and other staff.

Develop an understanding of the functionality, usability and performance requirements for the products being tested.

Participate in design discussions with the product development team.

Identify and create/develop software verification strategy for the new/existing functionalities

Develop, maintain and execute automated or manual test cases that are aligned with specific customer configurations and requirements.

Requirements

B

achelor’s

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of industry experience in software testing and/or in software engineering

Good understanding of software development lifecycles and software engineering principles

Ability to research and develop an understanding for the product requirements

Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases

Attention to detail, deep commitment to quality, self-improvement, and team-oriented development

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Should be a quick learner and willing to work across multiple applications.
