Agile Business Analyst

Purpose:
The Agile CRM Business Analyst is responsible for the entire business requirements lifecycle. As the vital link between our knowledgeable clients and tech-savvy team, the role is intimately involved with translating key insights and findings to the delivery team. But, we don’t stop there; taking it one step further, the Agile CRM Business Analyst is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve and create a value proposition for clients.

The Agile CRM Business Analyst will collaborate daily with a cross-functional agile team of CRM specialists including Client Services Managers, Solutions Architects, and the development team. Together, the team will deliver superior CRM Solutions. A team player who capitalizes on the value of each skill set is positioned to succeed in this role.

Non-Negotiable Must Have’s:
Top-notch Communication Skills. Work the room, ask the right questions, and steer the discussion to uncover client priorities and requirements, then document what you’ve learned. Clearly communicate progress to external (client) and internal stakeholders. We need someone who isn’t afraid to engage with the C-suite as well as business process experts. You can translate your findings to user stories, agile release planning, detailed acceptance criteria, and testing approaches.

Consultation + Leadership. Comfortable taking the wheel, coaching and mentoring the delivery and client teams. Gain clients’ trust by cultivating deep knowledge of the client, their business and their project. Lead the client in prioritizing high-value features, then demonstrate the clear communication, agile project organization and trusted consultant’s voice that successful projects require.

Business Smarts. Can you talk the talk and walk the walk of customer relationship management? You must be able to engage business development in demonstrating, proposing and scoping CRM solutions for referred prospects and in support of the sales team. Learn and understand our clients’ business models and identify areas in which Highland can offer expanded services.

Curious Creature. Continue to expand your skills, as applicable to the team’s work, and stay current with new features and capabilities in the CRM space. To stay competitive and provide the best value for our clients, we need someone who is constantly in search of the latest business trend and obsessed with driving results.

The Ideal Candidate Checks These Boxes:
Previous CRM experience, ideally 1+ years

Minimum 3+ years working as a Business Analyst on an agile team

Client-facing consulting experience

Great oral and written communication and meeting facilitation skills

Strong service mentality focused on client satisfaction

Track record of working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, delivery/development and operations

Experience forming lasting relationships of trust with team members

Demonstrated ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information

Experience with planning, organizing, and scheduling projects in an efficient, productive manner focusing on key priorities

A bachelor’s degree in technology, project management or related field
