Administrative / Customer Service Specialist (On-Call)

LongView International is seeking customer service, administrative, and clerical professionals for an on-call Biometric Technician position located in Indianapolis. The Biometric Technician provides support to Application Support Centers (ASC) Operations and Facilitates Services for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The Biometric Technician meets directly with USCIS applicants to collect their biometrics and identity data in addition to performing general administrative and reception duties. Training for collecting biometrics will be provided.

Note: This position is primarily ON-CALL with no guaranteed hours per week as applicant scheduling will fluctuate throughout the year. The situations by which the Site Supervisor may schedule you for work are when: employee(s) are out on leave (eg. sick, vacation, emergencies) or applicant scheduling increases and extra help is required in order to process applicants in a timely manner.

ASC Hours of Operations are Monday through Friday (7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.)

Responsibilities:
Meet/greet applicants and visitors and assist applicants with ASC processing forms.

Perform biometrics processing to include: digital fingerprints, electronic photographs, electronic signatures, and press print.

Responsible for tracking processing time for each applicant.

Differentiate between acceptable and non-acceptable biometrics in accordance with FBI biometrics processing standards.

Review immigration and biometrics documentation. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and in the appropriate order.

Demonstrate familiarity with terminology of work environment, knowledge, and understanding of USCIS basic immigration paperwork and procedures.

Responsible for safeguarding all documents.

Perform all reception and administrative duties to include; receive, sort and distribute mail; answer office phones; answer routine inquires for information or refer requests to the appropriate source within the office; and provide clerical support.

Assist customers with routine questions.

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
United States Citizenship

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Ability to obtain and or maintain a government issued suitability investigation (requiring a background check and credit check).

At least 1 year relevant experience, such as customer service, call center, administrative, clerical, and/or data entry.

Ability to stand or walk 70% to 75% of each shift while engaged in performing all assigned duties.

Must successfully complete all required training upon being hired to include 80 hours minimum training specified in the Training Program. Training will be conducted on site by the Site Supervisors.
