Administrative Assistant – Sr. Mgmt and Operational Support

Summary:
The Sr. Mgmt and Operational Support will act as the receptionist for the complex.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain program/project plans, coordinate and provide data call responses, develop and maintain databases, and evaluate/provide assessment of technical and non-technical program status

Interface by phone, email or in-person with NSWC Crane employees and contractors, academic and industry representatives and other potential agreement partners to assist with Innovation efforts.

Facilitate, plan and support meetings required for the management and execution of Innovation efforts

Establish priorities, research and provide analysis reports, provide synopses of meetings and develop/deliver presentations.

Provide recommendations regarding the execution, direction, and success of the Innovation programs. Contractor shall recommend programmatic milestones, schedules, budgets and costs to ensure project success and adapt plans to meet evolving programmatic needs. Contractor shall provide recommendations for the overall project definition, organization, and direction.

Manage project plans to include technical, financial and administrative efforts; forecasting; scheduling of technical and management activities; status reporting of project/program progress which includes progression toward programmatic goals; preparing for and conducting reviews and presentations documenting any technological breakthroughs and describing results in detail; and describing, in detail, the monthly status and overall conduct and results of the Innovation efforts.

Qualifications – Experience, Education and Licensure:
Required

High School diploma and five (5) years experience.

Military service/experience suitable substitute for education requirements.

Active DoD Secret clearance required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The employee will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when on field assignments. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Additional Qualifying Factors:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. May be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
