ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – DATA ENTRY – Clearance Dept.

Position: Administrative Assistant-Clearance

Job Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistantin the Clearance Office is responsible the processing of new investigatorresumes, the creation and distribution of investigator new hire paperwork, maintenanceof investigator personnel records, responding to investigator general inquiriesor external/internal inquires to an investigators status and the safekeeping ofinvestigator credentials. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assembling,editing, and formatting investigator new hire packets, maintaining up-to-dateand accurate records of all investigator information on an electronic database,providing follow-ups to any processes and/or status updates to newly hiredinvestigators, high volume scanning and electronic file creation.

Required Qualifications:
Must be able to multi-taskeffectively

Must possess strong data entryskills

Must possess efficientorganizational skills with attention to detail

Must be able to make 30 dayfollow-ups and ability to self-track to meet office deadlines

Must be able to work as a teamand be independently motivated

Extensive computer skills withproficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel

Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal

Possesses current Top Secret clearanceor undergo investigation to receive Top Secret clearance

Experienced with generaladministrative tools (phones, fax, copier, etc.)

Competency in the use of theEnglish language

Ability to effectively andprofessionally communicate over the phone

Ability to maintain a high levelof professional demeanor in a fast paced environment

Ability to prioritize work tasksaccording to the level of sensitivity

Ability to handle sensitive andconfidential information

Achieves set objectives byClearance Manager

Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience in new hireprocessing, personnel file maintenance or data entry experience

Experience in handling sensitiveinformation (Personal Identifiable Information)

High call volume experience

Ability to handle repetitiousinquiries to new hire applicants and status inquires for current employees

Ability and flexibility inschedule for 8 hour days to ensure that the clearance office is covered

Takes responsibility for actions

Demonstrates problem solvingskills

Has an open line of communicationregarding projects and investigator status with Clearance Office employees andmanager

Uponsuccessful 30 days completion eligible for benefits package which includesmedical, dental, vision, group life/AD&D insurance. ADC LTD NM requires thesuccessful completion employment and background checks.
