Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a full time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and general administrative activities. This position will also assist with employee recruitment, new hire orientation and pre-screening of applicants. Human Resources experience is preferred, but not required.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to work in a fast-paced environment and proficiency with computers and business software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.). Ideally would be someone also skilled with social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Assist other departments as assigned
  • Maintain and order office/break room supplies
  • Source candidates for all open positions.
  • Reach out to potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, etc…).
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and phone screens when required
  • New Hire paperwork and orientation
  • Prepare and send mail or packages as needed
  • Assist with special events and projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must maintain confidentiality regarding all information handled
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Team player
  • Associate degree preferred
