OVERVIEW

To assist with our continuing growth, we have a part-time position of Management Administrator available. This is an exciting role with tremendous potential for the right candidate. The successful candidate with a strong work ethic will have the opportunity to really develop in role and progress into Property Management. The position also offers the opportunity to progress into a full-time role.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Responsible for providing strong administrative support to the management team. To coordinate personnel and activities required to accomplish property management objectives, including but not limited to bookkeeping and maintenance while building and maintaining owner and tenant relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services
  • Provide support in all areas of the Office and Property Management functions, including coordinating maintenance, rent payments, preparation of budgets, marketing of vacant space, and maintenance of records.
  • Meet with tenants/prospective tenants to build relationships, resolve issues and show suitable available properties
  • Maximize office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications
  • Research and develop resources that create timely and efficient workflow
  • Establish uniform correspondence procedures and style practices
  • Formulate procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

The ideal candidate will:

  • have a strong work ethic, and possess a strong desire to learn and progress in the Property Management industry
  • be versatile and flexible, and be prepared to work according to the business needs
  • have an associates degree from a two-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication and time management skills
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
