ACH Developer

Position: ACH Developer
Location: 285 Peachtree Center Ave., Atlanta, GA 30303
Description
  • Deliver technically complex solutions in the electronic payments delivery space with an emphasis on ACH.
  • Perform system integration support for all project work.
  • Responsible for mainframe-based applications PEP+ with COBOL and DB2.
  • Perform customized coding, software integration, analysis, configuring solutions.
  • Using tools, including WebSphere integration products, to configure or generate a product.
  • Conduct robust unit testing and provide support for subsequent release testing.
  • Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in adherence to company standards.
  • Provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production.
  • Lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.
  • Solve complex technical and operational problems.
  • Act as a resource for teammates with less experience.


Qualifications

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.

  • Must have 2 years of experience in Developer positions performing the following:

o Utilizing in-depth knowledge of information systems to identify, apply, and implement best practices.

o Applying understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.

o Planning and leading technical solutions, configuration control and release management.

o Configuring, deploying, customizing, troubleshooting and supporting Automated Clearing House (ACH) applications (including Fiserv Pep+ and Exchange).

o Utilizing experience with the following: Data Warehousing; ETL tools; Distributed (JEE/JAVA Middleware, WebServices, or SOAP; IBM Mainframes technologies with COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, Easytrieve, ENDEVOR, NDM and MQ Series; and CA7/CA11

o Utilizing experience with: IAT transaction processing through NORKOM and related testing; PEP+ OFAC Module and PEP+ Exchange.

o Performing ACH Regulatory, User exits, custom coding and vendor code (PRE, PPA and CCN) management and installation.

o Working with client originations, receivables from FED and EPN, EDI, check image, general ledger and deposit feed processing.

o PEP+ integration and feed processing with downstream applications, including Deposit, Online cash manager, Online Treasury manager, and General ledger.

o Working on FISERV’s PEP+ (Paperless Entry Processing Plus) version 6.0, Service Pack 12 or later.

o Installation of Same Day ACH module.

o Supporting development, testing and maintenance/install of FIS Extended Account Analysis (XAA) system, including account setup, client onboarding and support monthly analysis cycle.
