Overview:
Join CSRA and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. The ACE-IT program is searching for an Associate Systems Administrator to join their team in Portland, Oregon . As the Systems Administrator, you will interface with customers from all levels of the organization to understand how the Enterprise Systems impact each customer’s work in order to implement the tools in a comprehensive, customer-facing fashion. You will provide individual and group training on the toolset as well as be able to write technical and policy documentation. You will also perform administrative, reporting, design and maintenance tasks on various Enterprise Monitoring platforms. Knowledge requirements include various Server Operating Systems, WAN/LAN Network concepts and devices, and Monitoring Software packages from a variety of vendors including Microsoft and Computer Associates.

Responsibilities:
Duties include: Installing, upgrading and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 and 2012R2, UNIX, and Linux Servers on VM platforms Installing, upgrading, maintaining and providing training/documentation for a suite of monitoring tools including but not limited to: Microsoft System Center Operations Manager CA Spectrum CA Service Operations Insight CA Network Flow Analysis CA Performance Center CA eHealth Monthly reporting using Microsoft Excel Advanced system and network troubleshooting Maintaining Server Operating Systems running on physical and VM platforms. Installing, upgrading and maintaining Monitoring Application Software running on a variety of Operating Systems. Delivering customer communication to the appropriate level of understanding to ensure a successful outcome. Documenting policies, procedures and issues in ticketing system as well as in internal knowledge base. This position provides support on a rotating On Call Schedule; Must be able to work rotating shift schedules which provide 24 hour day/7 day week coverage.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: Associates Degree in an IT field; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree 2+ years of practical experience working with Windows Server and Active Directory DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Sec+) and a Computing Environment certification; Must have at least one of the following: MCSA System Administrator: Windows Server 2003 MCITP Server Administrator: Windows Server 2008 MCITP Enterprise Administrator: Windows Server 2008 MCITP Virtualization Administrator Windows Server 2008 R2 MCSA Windows Server 2008 MCSA Windows Server 2012 MCSE Server Administrator: Windows Server 2003 MCSE Desktop Infrastructure 2012 MCSE Server Infrastructure 2012 MCSE Private Cloud 2012 Server+, VCP 4, VCP Secret clearance
