Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Collections Associate is responsible for meeting monthly business to business collection targets set by the client using written and verbal collections processes while protecting the client’s relationship with the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meets monthly collection targets
  • Directs cash application through remittance advice and statements as required
  • Escalates issues in accordance with escalation policy
  • Assists in the preparation of management reports in line with clients and Accenture’s requirements
  • Attends client meetings to discuss debtor performance and address issues as required Improves service/deliverables to the client with innovative ideas
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivables, customer service, business to business collections or order to cash (supply chain)

  • Preferred skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in MS Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • SAP experience is preferred

  • Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal business skills both oral and written
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a Team environment
  • Good organizational time management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Analytical approach
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain key relationships.
