Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Accountant is a full-time position with the following Essential Responsibilities and Tasks :

Complete regular billing and customer account reconciliations

Reviews reports, researches and resolves issues

Reviews payment postings for accuracy and to ensure account balances are current

Monitors and updates delinquent accounts status

Performs other duties as requested or assigned

Follow up with customers and collect on accounts

Manages NTOs and collection of releases of liens

Review and post daily financial transactions to several different accounts while ensuring proper controls over revenue and expense

Coordinate with bank vendors to resolve issues as needed

Assist in year-end audit and financial reporting process

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
2+ years construction billing experience

Associate degree in Accounting or Finance

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Exceptional attendance

Strong problem-solving abilities, mathematical knowledge, and reasoning skills

Ability to work in a team environment, as well as work independently

Well-organized with ability to prioritize

Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Must be able to pass Background + Drug Test
