The Accounts payable assistant is responsible for various accounting functions that help support the Accounting Department.

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities

Match and code invoices using purchase orders or receiving documentation

Performs data entry

Scanning invoices

Researches and resolves accounts payable issues with vendors

Communicates with various departments to obtain necessary information

Receptionist rotation and daily mail pickup at the post office

Performs other duties as may be deemed necessary

Skills & Requirements

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications

Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills

Education & Experience

High School Graduate with accounting background and experience

Associate’s Degree in Accounting a plus
