Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable / receivables for various construction projects.

Accounts Payable –

– Check, verify and process invoices

– Sort, Code and enter accounts payable data- Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices

– Match invoices to purchase orders and/or proof of delivery receipts

– Respond to all vendor inquiries

– Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Company policy

– Assist with other projects as needed

Accounts Receivable –

– Customer billing, job file creation & maintenance, and collections on delinquent accounts

– Familiar with AIA monthly pay estimates

Qualifications –

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, organization, productive and dependable

– Microsoft Word and Excel

– Excellent time management skills

– MUST be able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

– 2+ years experience within the construction industry is a MUST

– ComputerEase accounting software if preferred, not required

– Sales and use tax knowledge is preferred

– Experience with Texas lien notices / filings is a plus

– Must be able to pass a drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 to $22.00 /hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
