Accounting

Utah Insurance Company seeking full-time accountant to record accounting transactions and assist with financial and regulatory reporting process. Must be a self-starter with ability to meet deadlines. Looking for a problem solver, able to identify issues and come up with solutions.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: recording transactions, A/P, A/R, reconciliations, regulatory reports and filings, assist Controller with monthly closing, quarterly statement filing, assist with collection efforts, etc. Must have excellent customer service skills, with attention to detail for both internal and external customers.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Accounting experience in Insurance industry, preferably in the P&C sector a plus. Must have proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products.
