We are looking for a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our growing Minneapolis Accounting team. This challenging and rewarding position will provide an opportunity to work not only with our Minneapolis Accounting team, but with the entire Upper Midwest region of MMA.

This person works directly with the regional MMA team and carriers to facilitate accurate and timely processing of commission. The Accounting Specialist will also assist in processing vendor payables for the region.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Prior accounts payable or accounts receivable experience preferred.

Prior insurance industry experience preferred.

Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Good interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Microsoft Excel
