Accounting Specialist

Would you like to work for one of the fastest growing companies in the country? (Inc. 5000). Our Sports and Entertainment agency is currently seeking an accounting specialist for our dynamic business. This role will report to the owners of the company.

This position will assess the accounting and financial status of the company. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets.

Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.

· 2+ years of relevant experience (Accounting/Finance).

· Knowledge of corporate accounting, financial systems, and financial processes.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, while remaining motivated to provide creative solutions.

· Experience creating financial statements.

Responsibilities:

· Manage accounting and financial operations and work with company’s CPA.

· Bookkeeping.

· Prepare the daily, weekly, and monthly reports required by the management team.

· Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.

· Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.

· Manage all financial aspects including: financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and accounts payable as well as receivable.

· Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

· Provide analysis of financial results and develop recommendations, both strategically and tactically.

· Analyze financial information and concisely communicate business effects to management.

· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
