South Portland
, ME, we currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Specialist. This position reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller and ensures the accurate and timely preparation, reconciliation and reporting of various accounting records for Dead River Company.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years general office/accounting experience working with reconciliations, spreadsheet applications and performing other accounting related tasks
  • Investigative technique, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and experience with Crystal Reports
  • Commitment to maintaining systems for accounting control
