Accounting Specialist

A believer in Christ that can be a significant member of a team that will ensure data integrity, accuracy and timely preparation of entries in the preparation of monthly financial statements. Assists in audit preparation, monitoring daily bank activities, prepare monthly sub-ledger, and manage non-student receivables. Works closely with Human Resources and Advancement for various payroll and other transactions. Interacts with other departments on finance policies and procedures. A minimum of a Associate’s degree in accounting is strongly preferred. A minimum of four years’ experience in accounting/auditing is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Must have a strong spiritual walk, active in Church, and a role model that exemplifies Christ.
