Accounting Clerk

Position will require a broad range of general office clerical tasks (i.e., assist with accounting and bookkeeping support functions). This position involves planning, organization, attention to detail, problem solving, and teamwork. The ability to provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate good communication skills will be essential in this role. Other related duties may be assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Process employee and project related expense reports

• Pull receipts for invoices

• Contact procurement for order issues and invoicing instructions

• Assist with overflow for order entry, CRM, and GP

• Assist with AP overflow and entering AP invoices

• Assist in month end reporting procedures

• Perform filing and other general administrative tasks

• Liaise with other departments, customers, and vendors

• Assist with preparation and submission of customer invoices

Non – Essential Functions:

• Complete timesheet weekly

• General office and administrative work as required

• General office filing as required

• Phone backup support

• Backup receptionist duties

Position Requirements

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must have proficient knowledge of MS office, especially Word and Excel

• Knowledge of accounting software (MS Dynamics GP)

• Working knowledge of general accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
