Description

The Cincinnati Life Insurance Companies’ Accounting department is currently seeking an accoutant.

prepare daily and monthly journal entries, including journal importing

prepare account reconciliations, including complex reconciliations

prepare of state filings

handle timely and accurate data entry for journal entries, quarterly and annual statements

run queries from PeopleSoft Financials and use results to populate Excel spreadsheets

assist in other accounting projects as requested

Qualifications

Requirements:
attention to detail and ability to closely follow due dates

positive attitude and have the ability to work well with others

exhibit the ability to verbally communicate cordially, professionally and clearly

ability to communicate effectively in writing, executing accurate, friendly and grammatically correct communication

ability to work beyond normal schedule work hours, as necessary, and some Saturdays

knowledge of Microsoft® Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook and Word

knowledgeable about PeopleSoft Financials preferred, but not required

insurance industry experience preferred, but not required

Education:

achelor’s degree in accounting
