An Accountant at Bender Midwest Properties will be responsible for a variety of property level duties including:

• Preparing monthly financial reporting in accordance with owner deadlines and requirements
• General ledger accounting analysis and balance sheet account reconciliation
• A/R and AP review
• Performing an analysis of monthly financial statements and monthly bank reconciliations
• Calculation of monthly management fees
• Accounting either on an accrual or cash basis
• Assisting in the annual budget process
• Special projects and adhoc reports as assigned
• Researching problems as required

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal, listening and written skills
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Experience working with accounting software
• Effective organizational skills and problem solving skills
• Positive, proactive work ethic and approach
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent time management skills, establish priorities and meet deadlines
• Background check required
