CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Accountant – Financial Reporting and Technology

FANUC America Corporation provides the most complete range of industry-leading robotics, CNC and motion control systems, and ROBODRILL machining centers. Our innovative technologies and proven expertise help manufacturers in the Americas to be more efficient, reliable and profitable. FAC is currently searching for an Accountant in Financial Reporting and Technology to join our Finance team. This is a great entry level opportunity to support the Finance department with financial and industry reporting and continuous improvement efforts. Primary responsibilities will include:

Support organization with financial reporting and ad-hoc report creation and distribution to various groups within the company including Sales, Execution, Marketing and Development.

Support Finance Group with development and maintenance of reporting and automation.

Support month end process with assigned accounting and finance tasks to meet deadlines and goals.

Support Corporate Forecast process for the capture and disbursement of data

Support annual budget process and financial target creation and tracking

Interface with Information Technology Group on collaborative projects for continuous improvement

Develop best practices for data integrity

Support Management assigned ad-hoc assignments and requests

Support internal auditing related to J-SOX compliance.

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:

Bachelor s Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Aptitude to learn and work with various financial systems, database systems, and querying languages

Strong organizational, communication and prioritization skills and the ability to work in an up tempo environment covering all areas of the business.

Excellent technical computer skills with Excel, database, data analytic and/or programming background
