Accountant

Our construction organization is looking for an experienced

accountant to join a small, but strong team of tenured professionals. The Accountant will be responsible for a

broad range of responsibilities and so we are seeking someone motivated by

having a variety of responsibilities that enjoys interacting with a variety of

different departments and people. Job

responsibilities can be somewhat customized to fit the skills of candidates,

but will include bank reconciliations, job costing, progress billings, revenue

accounting, accounts payable, journal entries and about 15-20% of the role will

be office management related.

The ownership team works well together and has a strong

belief in taking care of their employees and making this company a place

employees want to stay long term.

Benefits are competitive and target compensation is $60-75K. Hours are flexible and the organization is

very family friendly.

Candidates must have 3+ years of related accounting on an

ERP system, Spectrum preferred.

Construction experience is a plus, but not a must for someone with all

other aspects of the accounting experience who is willing to learn. Excel knowledge of Pivot Tables and Vlookups

among other intermediate to advanced functions and formulas is also

required.
