Accountant

The Doe Run Company is seeking an accountant for our Buick Resource Recycling Division to assist the division controller in day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities.

Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts Prepare and enter monthly accruals and closing journal entries Complete account reconciliations and maintain accounting logs Conduct cost and financial analyses as needed Maintain fixed assets and project costing systems Create and present various financial reports

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and four to seven (4-7) years of accounting experience Experience working with ERP systems Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project PeopleSoft experience is a plus Project costing experience

Skills and Abilities: Must be an effective communicator (verbal and written), with the ability to present reports and analyses. Must be able to go in plant to perform inventory review
