Account Manager

Cenveo, a world leader in the management and distribution of print and related offerings is seeking an experienced Account Manager in its Dallas facility

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of Customer Service/Acct Manager experience.

Responds to all internal/external customers inquires as well as performing a variety of customer focused duties. Guides and assists customer services representatives to ensure Cenveo standards are adhered to.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives, researches, and answers customer inquiries and requests regarding orders, releases, and quotes.
  • Assists in management of house accounts and territories where no salesperson is assigned.
  • Reviews customer purchase orders.
  • Initiates traces of customer and stock orders and conducts follow up with plant scheduler.
  • Processes delivery commitments from customer/salesperson.
  • Receives and processes change orders.
  • Advises salespersons of any orders not meeting shipping schedules or orders that are backlogged.
  • May attend daily production meetings.
  • May initiate purchase orders for outside purchased products.
  • Provides pricing to other National Envelope facilities.
  • Working closely with the CS Manager, trains and assists CSR in company and departmental standards and processes.
  • Coordinates and addresses issues with plant management and quality control on all orders.
  • Services highly detailed accounts.

ADDITIONAL DEPARTMENT OR POSITION-SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edits all incoming orders.
  • Handles special requests from sales force.
  • Complies with safety rules and regulations (wear proper safety attire; steel toed shoes or coverings, hearing protection, safety glasses, shields and gloves as needed).
  • All other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (refers to job, not incumbent):

Education:

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Required Certification (s):

Experience:

Minimum: Three years customer service experience within the paper industry or envelope manufacturing.

Preferred: Four to six years customer service experience within the paper industry or envelope manufacturing.

Special Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
  • Extensive knowledge of JD Edwards Software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 to $18.50 /hour

Experience:

  • Customer Service Skills: 3 years (Required)
  • paper industry or envelope manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
  • JDE: 1 year (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Required)
